Turn your PC into a TV and PVR with this handy Intuix USB Tuner! This handy USB DVB-T tuner allows you to tune your PC into digital terrestrial TV signals (Freeview to most of us). Simply plug into your PC via a free USB port and set up the DVB-T signal. We tried this device on our media centre PC and it worked a treat. We have been very impressed with the quality and performance of the Intuix range overall and we were soon recording and rewinding to our hearts content (we're sad like that!).

The device itself is nice and compact so will fit easily into your laptop bag. Its supplied with a driver disc which also has TV software which we liked a lot. It has a small portable antenna supplied and also an adapter cable if you happen to have a proper TV aerial lead handy.

The unit supports all the usual stuff you can do with a media centre PC including time-shifting. We found it was nice and fast to change channels when watching live TV as well. All in all a very impressive little unit for the price. So, the next time you are off on holiday, you needn't miss that crucial TV show. Take one of these and your lappy and you'll be sorted. We should also point out that it works very well with desktop PC's in a home media centre set-up. If you want higher recommendation, we noticed that the boss has already swiped one!
