Tuffdisc DVD-R media has taken the value end of the blank media world by storm. Produced by CMC Magnetics, these discs are double coated with a tough, pebble dash orange finish. This makes them extremely durable. Add to that a quality CMC dye and you have a really good disc for normal use.

We're not going to tell you that these are better than Verbatim but we have been really surprised at the consistency of burns achieved with these Tuffdsisc. We always test media before selling it and this disc is happy in a wide range of writers, from Panasonic, through Sony to NEC. We couldn't fault these DVD-R.

The familiar Tuffdisc 8x DVD-R media has now been joined by this 16x version. That means it'll burn in half the time, given a 16x DVD writer. They are rated at 4.7GB, 120 Minutes making them a standard DVD-R. We would recommend this media for general use or backing up. It's a write once disc and comes in a handy 50 tub. The disc has space for writing on top and the Tuffdisc logo.
Dye formulation may vary with these discs but will always be a CMC code.
